Gérard Garouste
Gérard Garouste (b. 1946) is a contemporary French painter, printmaker, and sculptor who also works in film and performance arts. His work delves into the psychological, alegorical, and mythical explorations of his life, past and present often referencing Biblical stories and Hebrew texts. He is a member of the Academie des Beaux Arts and is the founder of l'Association La Source, an educational and social action group to help under privileged children have access to art education. He lives and works in Normandy and Paris and shows with Galerie Templon.
